Shipping & Returns

Shipping

Packaging:

  • All small paintings (16” x 16” and under) are shipped flat, in between acid-free glassine paper and sturdy backing boards and placed in an extra-sturdy rigid mailer, or a sturdy flat box.

  • All large and extra large paintings (with any dimension above 20”) are protected with acid-free glassine paper, rolled and shipped in a rigid square mailing tube with bubble wrap.

domestic orders:

  • Shipping is via USPS and can be selected at checkout. Costs are dependent on size of artwork and shipping speed. If you require shipping via FedEx or UPS, select “Domestic: Cost to be invoiced after purchase” at checkout and leave a note or send me an email at orders@carriechan.com and I can work with you to arrange alternate shipping options.

  • For orders combining multiple paintings of different sizes, shipping will be invoiced after purchase, but the total will not exceed shipping costs of the largest size painting. Paintings may have to be shipped separately as I typically ship larger paintings rolled, and smaller paintings flat, but you will not be charged extra for this.

  • Shipping time is anywhere from 3-4 days (priority) to 1 or 2 weeks (standard) from time of order depending on which shipping option you select.

  • Signature upon delivery can be requested for a minimal extra charge.

  • A tracking number will be provided with every order.

International orders:

  • Shipping will be calculated and invoiced after purchase as shipping rates vary widely depending on destination. You can contact me at orders@carriechan.com for an estimate on shipping costs.

  • You are responsible for any duty, taxes, and other fees depending on your country’s laws.

  • Shipping time is 1 to 4 weeks from time of order, depending on what shipping speed you would like and is available for your country.

  • I will only ship via methods that provide tracking numbers.

Returns

All original painting purchases are final sale.

Please review photos on website closely; I do my best to accurately capture each painting as closely as possible. If you are unsure about any painting, please contact me at orders@carriechan.com and I will be happy to answer any questions or provide more photos if needed.

Please remember that each original artwork is painted by hand, and although I do paint in a very precise, technical style, I like to leave any “imperfections” in the painting as it’s a reminder to myself and to you that these are all hand-painted! “Imperfections” may include paint splatters, painting slightly “outside the lines”, paper surface imperfections, etc. and are all captured in photos in each product listing. I clean up my paintings as I see fit, but like to leave some of these marks behind… every original artwork is unique! By purchasing any original artwork, you are acknowledging these “imperfections” and are agreeing to love them as much as I do :)

Damaged/lost/undelivered items:

  • I am not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service, and am not liable for any damage incurred post-delivery. I ensure that every order is packaged with extreme care. When you receive your item, please use care in opening the package to ensure your artwork can remain in its best shape!
