Galaxy Road (41" x 30")
This piece, being the largest painting I’ve done to date, is an homage to all of my favorites: a beautiful muted jewel toned palette in the dusky purples, mauves, and dark blues, lots of beautiful textures in the granulation, and the subtle color shifts throughout, providing movement across the piece but also between each layer.
There is something otherworldly about watercolor paintings at this larger size. The translucency of the watercolor on this scale really makes you feel like you are moving with it, weaving in and out of each layer.

Materials: graphite and archival watercolor pigments on 100% cotton rag
Dimensions: 41” x 30” (104cm x 76cm), deckled edges on top and bottom, straight cut edges on right and left sides
Signed on front bottom left. This particular painting is signed in such a way that you can also hang this painting vertically if you like (see last photo). I couldn’t decide which orientation I preferred more so I’ll let you decide how you want to display it!

All original painting purchases are final sale.
Please remember that each original artwork is painted by hand, and although I do paint in a very precise, technical style, I like to leave any “imperfections” in the painting as it’s a reminder to myself and to you that these are all hand-painted! “Imperfections” may include paint splatters, painting slightly “outside the lines”, paper surface imperfections, etc. and are all captured in photos in each product listing. By purchasing any original artwork, you are acknowledging these “imperfections” and are agreeing to love them as much as I do :)
While I make every effort to represent the artwork digitally as close to the original as possible, please allow for slight color variance due to the differences in computer monitors.
