Glass Diamond (7.5" x 7.5")
An experimental test painting I created for what would later become Glass Carnation, this piece had me testing some new techniques to achieve a stained-glass type effect. The subtle outlines of each shape created by layering methods almost makes it look like a number of different glass puzzle pieces fitted together to create the resulting piece. The intensifying colors towards the center also creates a good amount of depth for a painting this small—like looking into a sparkling jewel.

All original painting purchases are final sale.
Please remember that each original artwork is painted by hand, and although I do paint in a very precise, technical style, I like to leave any “imperfections” in the painting as it’s a reminder to myself and to you that these are all hand-painted! “Imperfections” may include paint splatters, painting slightly “outside the lines”, paper surface imperfections, etc. and are all captured in photos in each product listing. By purchasing any original artwork, you are acknowledging these “imperfections” and are agreeing to love them as much as I do :)
