The delicate layering technique used for this piece creates a wonderful stained-glass like effect; I love the subtlety of color and definition in each individual shape and how they work together as a whole to create swirling movement when seen from afar. This color palette is a little bit unusual for me: straying away from my usual blues, pinks and purples, this particular piece showcases the warmths of a terracotta like red-brown, turning into a beautiful dark maroon/burgundy towards the center.

Please remember that each original artwork is painted by hand, and although I do paint in a very precise, technical style, I like to leave any “imperfections” in the painting as it’s a reminder to myself and to you that these are all hand-painted! “Imperfections” may include paint splatters, painting slightly “outside the lines”, paper surface imperfections, etc. and are all captured in photos in each product listing. By purchasing any original artwork, you are acknowledging these “imperfections” and are agreeing to love them as much as I do :)
