Hazy Windows 05 (22.5" x 30")
I painted a number of much smaller versions of this early on in my watercolor days... it was one of my favorite paintings to paint back then and I’m not sure why it took me so long to paint a large version but here it is! The first larger version of Hazy Windows. I love the expansiveness of this painting… pieces at this size let you wander so much within all the textures of the paint and paper. Even though my style is one of precision and clean edges, I like to use that only as a boundary in which I can let watercolor can do its own thing.

All original painting purchases are final sale.
Please remember that each original artwork is painted by hand, and although I do paint in a very precise, technical style, I like to leave any “imperfections” in the painting as it’s a reminder to myself and to you that these are all hand-painted! “Imperfections” may include paint splatters, painting slightly “outside the lines”, paper surface imperfections, etc. and are all captured in photos in each product listing. By purchasing any original artwork, you are acknowledging these “imperfections” and are agreeing to love them as much as I do :)
